About Us
Our Purpose
To bring life in Jesus' name:
Wholeness in spirit, soul, and body
-
Our: As an individual I choose freely to identify with and share ownership and responsibility with a group (in our case, I identify with, and belong to, and am a member of, the body of believers which is called Covenant Life Church). (Acts 2:44)
-
Purpose: God has a divine design and will for me and for us in Christ. (Eph. 1:5,2:10)
-
Bring: An action verb meaning to transport or transfer something I have in my possession. (Rom. 10:15)
-
Life: Jesus' overflowing and abundant life. "God kind" of life (zoe), compared to the devil who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10;I John 5:12)
-
Wholeness: To be saved and made well in the totality of our being (sozo). (I Thess. 5:23, Ps. 23:1-3). To be healed, delivered, refreshed and to live emotionally and physically in self discipline, good lifestyle habits, and the fear of the Lord. (Prov. 3:7-8, 4:22) We aspire to be a people of pursuit who value lost and un-churched people; a people of God's presence in praise and in prayer; a people of power, living the victory of Christ's kingdom; a people of promise who bring hope to the hurting; a people of passion who see and speak prophetically to build God's kingdom within one another and impact the culture in our generations; and a people of peace who act in love for one another and who bring healing and reconciliation in our community.
Our Mission is to build a charismatic, covenant community, one person at a time, in the ways of God's kingdom. Isaiah 2:2-3; Matthew 5:13-16
Our Vision is to teach, train, and release pastoral and servant leaders, to have high impact in the communities in OKC. We believe in ten to fifteen years, we will help being significant change in our church community, business community, arts community, and that we will affect educational and public policy with the principles of God's kingdom. Matthew 5:13-16
